What We Believe

One True God

We believe in one true God. “Hear O Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One. And you shall love the Lord your God with all of your heart, mind, soul, and strength.”

The Lord Jesus Christ (Messiah)

We believe in the deity of Jesus as the only begotten Son of God. We believe that He fulfills all of Scripture’s prophecies regarding the Messiah. He came to fulfill and not destroy the law or teaching of God. We believe in His death for the redemption of all people, His resurrection, and His return to judge the world. It is important that all followers of Jesus live as though He may come at any time, looking for the Blessed Hope.

We believe all men are born with a sinful nature and that the work of Jesus Christ on the cross was to redeem man from the power of sin. We believe that salvation is available to all who will receive it.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the existence of the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Tri-Unity of God and His personal involvement with man. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as manifested by the experience of the early believers in the New Testament and we believe in the resultant fruit and gifts of the Spirit.

The Bible is Inspired

We believe that all Scripture -- Old Testament (Tanach) and New Testament -- is the inspired Word of God and the complete revelation of God’s will for mankind. We believe in the absolute authority of the Scripture to govern the affairs of men.

The Church

We believe in the Church as the eternal and universal Body of Christ consisting of all those who have accepted the work of the atonement of Jesus on the cross. We believe in the need for a local assembly of believers for the purpose of evangelism, edification and continuing the ministry of Jesus in today’s world.

We believe that evangelism is the obligation of every follower of Jesus Christ. The Lord commands us that as we are going out into all the world, we are to make disciples. We believe that each person is first responsible to evangelism in their own family as the Holy Spirit leads them and gives them the ability. The Lord’s command is to evangelize the Jewish populations and every culture to which we have opportunity to witness.

Water Baptism

We believe in the ordinance of water baptism by immersion in obedience to the Word of God. All those who have accepted Jesus the Christ as their personal Savior should be baptized in water as a public profession of their faith in Christ.

We believe in the ordinance of Communion in obedience to the Word of God. Jesus said we should do this in remembrance of Him until He returns. Every believer has the privilege to participate together with His church.

Prayer and Praise

We believe in the worship of the Lord through singing, clapping, and the lifting of hands. We believe in the authority of the believer to ask freely of the Lord for his/her needs.

Body Ministry

We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit to the Church body through the anointing of oil by the elders of the church.

We believe that it is the privilege of every believer to ask for healing of the spirit, soul, and body. Jesus Christ went about healing all manner of sicknesses and doing good in His ministry here on earth. He suffered for our sickness and pain up to and on the cross. He is at the right hand of God today interceding for us. It is a vital part of the ministry of the church to pray and anoint with oil for healing.

The Priesthood of the Believer

We believe that every believer has a unique relationship to the Lord. As His children, every believer has immediate access to the throne of Grace and the ability to manifest the power of the Lord Jesus Christ in ministry.

We believe that every man is the steward of his life and resources which ultimately belong to God. We believe that tithing is a measure of obedience to the Scriptural principles of stewardship. There are three tithes in scripture: (1) the tithe to God’s house – mandatory (2) the tithe of offerings – by choice (3) the tithe of alms – by choice to those one comes in contact with.

Our Commitment to Israel

We believe in the promise of Genesis 12:3 regarding the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. We believe that this is an eternal covenant between God and the seed of Abraham to which God is faithful. We believe that it is our responsibility to pray for the Jewish people and the peace of Jerusalem.
